Re: Need help identifying a old vega mandolin
"Early 1910's" seems much too early; I'd be guessing 1930's or '40's, maybe later. Lack of serial number or headstock logo is surprising for a Vega. I've been Googling, trying to find when Vega used that particular label; while I find images of it on-line, I don't find a date range.
It's not a common Vega model, from all I can find. We're familiar with Vega bowl-backs and cylinder-backs, from, say, 1900 through the 1930's. This seems later, and I'm hoping one of the more experienced Cafe members has seen one like it. I haven't.
