Default Need help identifying a old vega mandolin

Greeting all, I am new to this forum and hoping that some local experts can help me identify what model / year this mandolin was made. I can't seem to find any serial number. There is a generic label inside the sound hole that reads Vega. There isn't and logo on the headstock. I assume this is a early 1910's ... A style. Can anyone else shine a little light on this mystery? Thanks in advance for your reply!

"Early 1910's" seems much too early; I'd be guessing 1930's or '40's, maybe later. Lack of serial number or headstock logo is surprising for a Vega. I've been Googling, trying to find when Vega used that particular label; while I find images of it on-line, I don't find a date range.

It's not a common Vega model, from all I can find. We're familiar with Vega bowl-backs and cylinder-backs, from, say, 1900 through the 1930's. This seems later, and I'm hoping one of the more experienced Cafe members has seen one like it. I haven't.

Allen, I'm not sure it isn't newer than that. Those tuners and the tailpiece were used up into the 60's.

You should be able to date it closer by the label. Does that label say 150 Columbus Avenue on it?

This one looks like the roundhole version of the OP's from around the same era. You can see a better shot of the gold label too. I would also say circa 1940s for both.

If his label shows the address I asked about it can be dated to a point. I think they left the Columbus address in 61.
