Ken Hooper 12 Fret D-28 Norman Blake(Arnold Adi /Brazilian

Photo for Ad 170690

There is much written about this guitar in the Hooper thread and many additional photos. Please let me know any questions.

Hooper 12 fret D28 Norman Blake replica. Built with Mike Longworth old growth Brazilian rosewood from the Martin factory. The wood was acquired directly from TJ Thompson, who’d been sitting on it for the past 30 years. It’s perfectly quarter sawn, dead straight, and tight grained. The Top was picked out by John Arnold just for this guitar and was given to Andy as a 40th Birthday present from a friend, New York Lefty! The guitar is practically brand new; it’s only been strung up for a couple months. More Photos in a week or so! Google Hooper thread on UMGF to hear Andy playing the NB and comments!
