Flatiron "Festival F" made in Nashville in December of 2000.
I'm the second owner of this instrument, since January 2006.
Please click the link "additional information" for pics and a downloadable mp3 sound sample.
It's in very clean shape. There's a small area with some button marks on the back (were there when I bought it) -- they can be seen if the back is held the right way in light (compare viewing angles in the posted pics). There's also a small mark on the scroll (shown in pic).
The Flatiron Festival F's were constructed to almost the same specs as F-5g's of that time, but with different peghead inlay, a different tailpiece cover, and slightly larger frets.
Tone bar bracing.
Nut width is 1 1/16".
Tuners are Schaller.
This comes with a Travelite case in near-mint condition. It protects the instrument very well.
$2,250 which includes shipping.
The price is firm -- compare it to what others are asking.
These are nice mandolins and tend to get played. This one has been played but not abused.
Not interested in trades.
No sales outside the USA lower 48.
I will respond only to cafe members with a posting history.
