I originally planned to keep this one, but another in this batch with a flat fretboard became available. Most folks go for a radius, and I have no preference, so... This one had the clearest, cutting highs out of the batch. Just had it out to a festival to see how it does, and it holds strong sitting across from a banjo. Low end is showing up, too. Strong bluegrass mandolin. The top is the early 1980's 1-pc "BC" Log (bear claw) Alaskan Sitka, the bracing is Adirondack spruce from a piano built in NY in the 1890's, the back is 1-pc eastern red maple, comfy rounded "V" neck profile, radiused fretboard, medium EVO fretwire, nut at 1 5/32", MOP flower pot & logo, Rubner tuners with ebony buttons, Cumberland Acoustic bridge, hand engraved tailpiece (or I could swap for an engraved James, if you prefer), triple bound all around with side purfling, brushed oil varnish finish that has been French polished, and comes in a white fiberglass Superior case. More photos available on my website. I'm asking $7000 + shipping. Thanks!
