--sound of applause-- Rainy, welcome to Mandolin Mondays. Beautifully played original tune! Love the fact you're composing your own music. Keep up the great work.

Very cool, excellent taste and tone. Soooo, what's the name of the tune?
Dude. Very nice rendition! I listened to this, then listened to Jethro doing it on The Puritan Sessions, then listened to this one again - twice! Really enjoyed what you've done with it. Great to see that MT2 will have the opportunity to achieve its full potential.
Wow. If I had won it, I wouldn't have been able to make it sound that good. Thanks for letting us hear it in the hands of a real player.
Nice...glad to see you are putting that Collings to good use,
Kyle, you're sounding GREAT and the mandolin is not too shabby either! Keep up the good work.
Very nice, Dave!
Aleikhem Shalom Dave* Finally a klezmer tune on Mandolin Mondays. Bluegrass-ified version and I can't dance to it. But a nod to the great klezmer genre none the less. *Shalom aleikhem is a spoken greeting in Hebrew, meaning "peace be upon you." The appropriate response is aleikhem shalom
I second that. Great version indeed, Dave. Thanks!
Welcome, Dave. Great version of this melody!
Beautiful song and sonically wonderful, Bernard! Thanks, and welcome!
Cool! Very nice little tune, and I really liked all the tones you pulled out of that instrument for it.
Hey Bernard Love the song. Very well played. Welcome
Beautiful instrument, and a well played original tune. Not much could make a morning better!
Welcome, Bernard. Well played!
Great playing Jake. That Gilchrist sounds killer too.
Oh yeah! Awesome. Chord -melody rules! Great playing Jake!
Beautiful.
Maybe if I sell all my stuff and buy his old Sam Bush model I can be half as good.
Jaaaakkkeeeee! Glad to see you here. You're sounding great as ever. Funny story. 3-4 months ago I was in Brooklyn (no, I don't live there) on the train. It stops, young guy with a man bun and a Calton case gets on, sits across from me. I walk over and sit down next to him, he looks at me funny, as he should have. I say, "hey man, you played your first out of state gig in Lawrence, KS when you were in high school, brought there by Ken Cartwright and didn't even get paid for it." Had not seen him in person since. We had 6-7 station stops to catch up before I exited. We have someone (ahem) working, albeit slowly, towards a feature interview with Jake we hope to see in our mailbox in the future. He's a great, enthusiastic musician and instructor and his Sullivan is a fine instrument. I was at a festival in Tygh Valley, Oregon this past weekend and there were two other Sullivan mandolins there and both were really great mandolins.
Been following Caleb for a long time! Check out all of his Foghorn String Band videos some time - there are many. He gets that woody sound out of a mandolin like almost no other. He is the man!
Great job Caleb!
I have already reserved a place at the house concert he will be doing in Portland (OR) in early December. Check his website for details. I hope to see some of my MC friends there. He and his style have been on my "awesome" list since I first heard one of his air-hammer tremolos.
Love Caleb’s playing. And that Sullivan is a beast!
Excellent picking Caleb! I really dig how the Sullivan sounds.
I love hearing Caleb's Sullivan mando! (...and every Sullivan for that matter. Andrew Marlin was picking one for a while too.) Nice picking Caleb. Really enjoyed this one.
Welcome, Caleb! Great playing, great tune.
Haven't had tons of instructors but Caleb was one of the best. Thanks David for bringing him to the weekly feature.
Hey, thanks everyone!
Great and musical arrangement...and that Vessel sounds wonderful.
Great arrangement brilliantly played. Thanks! Daniel
Lovely!
Awesome!!
Welcome, Nathan. Brilliantly played!
Goodness that was great. Just amazing.

Teo, really great ! I hope I can play as well as you when I grow up. (Well, maybe by the time I retire...)

Awesome!
Wow, great picking! I’ve been a fan since watching Teo and Tristan Scroggins play Jerusalem Ridge a while back!
Swagger!
One to watch for sure! Wow!!!
Awesome playing and that mandolin is not to bad either. There may be several mandolins show up for sale after people view this one!
Break his arm ! Just ain't fair for us oldies ! :)
You've got some serious mojo, young man. Thanks for shredding!
Very cool. Excellent playing and blending in the improv with the basic tune. Thanks for sharing Teo.
Tasty!
