Is it possible to post a schedule of your gigs in the US?

Thank you so much! I hope you could enjoy reading as much as I did writing it. I was already a fan of Luperce, but definitely after this serie I’m fascinated by his music and life history. I hope other people can admire him more now too. Obrigada 🙏

Enjoyed the history lesson! Thanks.
Thank-you Elisa!
Fantastic series - thanks !
An excellent set of blog articles.
Anyone know where to find a copy of Luperce Miranda - o Paganini do bandolim by Marília Trindade? I see a copy on Brazil's Amazon.com (need to add the ".com" here ... ) but I'm wondering if there isn't someplace closer to home?
Bostin! Thanks so much for this.
Am listening to Meu Brazil - pretty amazing. Including the article which I haven't read yet.

Yes, it’s quite difficult to find books or information about Luperce, nowadays is a little bit easier with internet, but still not much. I had to learn his piece by ear with the recordings.

So great to get this wonderful background on some of the less well known players. Thanks very much Elisa! Had no idea of the background on Luperce other than his wonderful compositions.
Alma e Coração is breathtaking!
This last video with the tune "Alma e Coração" is just absolutely beautiful but you need to listen to the entire recording. It's really a stunning piece of music.

Really nice piece on choro!
Hey Hudson Valley ! This Thursday the Jacob Jolliff Band will play at the Spiegeltent at 8:00 at Bard College, Annandale on Hudson ……and this coming Sunday the Choro Das Tres, featuring Elisa Meyer Ferreira on Bandolim, will perform at the Spiegeltent at 6:00…Bard is about an hour north of Beacon and an hour south of Albany. Two of the best players in the game…
What a great piece... and the music samples... superb! Thanks Elisa... from a friend in Bellingham who wears a beret...
Thank you Elisa... MM
Excellent - thank you. Listening to you play is absolutely enthralling!
Fantastic! Thanks to Elisa and Corina for this interesting educational piece and the historical recordings. All 3 of them were great! And the answer to your homework question is of course that April 23 is the birthday of Pixinguinha. (Thanks to google and the Brazil Embassy UK for that one.)
Elisa, thanks for our educational work for Choro. Hope you all come back to Santa Cruz, CA before long.
Thank-you Elisa... it seems as though your right hand worked quite well from "the get-go" (the start)! I only wish my right hand functioned as amazingly as yours... and your left hand is no slouch either!
Thanks for these great posts, Elisa. And for the wonderful interview on the Mandolins and Beer podcast last week. I loved listening to you explain your points by playing short pieces on your mandolins. Great stuff!

I love listening to Elisa play the Mandolin. I love watching her too!! I can only dream of playing as good as she does. It's nice to read and hear of the people that influenced her. Much love Elisa!!
Just discovering this series! What a great idea - I am so happy to see it. I love your writing style, and think Mandolin Cafe is a perfect way for choro lovers to experience these anecdotes, mixed in with excellent examples of the tunes as they are mentioned. Your integrity, not only as a player, but also as a broadly curious person who combines deep knowledge and high standards, shines in this forum. More please! Thanks Mandolin Cafe
Obrigado!
Loving this series and can't wait for the next article!
