Carter Vintage Guitars Accepting Orders For Gilchrist Instruments

Orders for newly crafted instruments from the workshop of Stephen Gilchrist are being taken exclusively from Carter Vintage Guitars of Nashville.

Nashville, Tenn. — Carter Vintage Guitars, Nashville's premier vintage instrument store and distributor for Stephen Gilchrist of Gnotuk, Australia, has a few available slots in the next batch of Gilchrist instruments, scheduled for delivery in the Fall of 2016.

Price for a Style 5 mandolin is $22,700 (with Hoffee or Calton case), plus shipping from Nashville.

Other styles of mandolin-family instruments, as well as a 16" guitar, are available. A 25% deposit will secure an order.
