    Travers Chandler - Archaic

Rockville Md. — Bluegrass mandolin stalwart Travers Chandler has released his latest solo recording, Archaic, on Patuxent Music.

Chandler, solidly rooted in traditional bluegrass has led a complicated life that is reflected in his choice of songs and the emotional delivery of music he was literally born to play as evidenced in part of his biography from Patuxent Music:

Born with one foot in classic country and the other in hardcore bluegrass, and to a family not unacquainted with alcohol, Travers pretty much, "grew up out of the womb," but with an intimate familiarity with country and bluegrass music, and a singular talent to meld them both into his own style.
