Old and New - a 1912 Blond F4 Gets a New Home

Rating: 13 votes, 4.23 average.
Well, 13 years and one week to the day of launching the Mandolin Cafe, I'm writing this inside of vBulletin's blogging software so I can get up to speed and roll it out to the rest of the message board members.

Remember the Cafe's "Pub" that ran from 2001 to 2004? Maybe this is its return.

Big news around my house is that my lust for a blond F4 has finally been satisfied with the recent acquisition of #12106, a 1912 model complete with Handel tuners. Sure, she has a few issues, but she sings like a bird when played, and I couldn't be happier. A good match has been made, and although we're all just temporary owners of these things, I think we're going to spend some good time together.

You can see a few more pictures of this beauty over at the Mandolin Archive.
