Mandolin Mondays #119 w/ Special Guest Ryan Paisley

Rate this Entry
Ryan Paisley of Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass crushes some Monroe for us this week on Mandolin Mondays. Listen to that Kentucky mandolin sing!

Ryan started playing the mandolin at the age of 4 and hasn't ever looked back. By the time he was 12 he was already playing on stage with the likes of country legend Marty Stuart. Now Ryan plays full time with his father in the IBMA award-winning band Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass.

Here's Ryan with a bit more info about the video, "This is my take on an old Monroe classic called Come Hither to go Yonder. The song is from the Master of Bluegrass record; that I changed slightly to fit my style. I’ve been playing the tune for a few years, and it is still one of my favorite songs to play!"

And as always, tune in next week for more Mandolin Mondays! Until then...

Happy Picking!
David
