Mandolin Mondays w/ Special Guest Greg Pauza

Rate this Entry
This week on #mandolinmondays, check out Greg Pauza of the Tenderbellies play this brooding original composition on this self-made, custom electric mandolin.

Greg is a Burlington-based mandolinist. He plays with The Tenderbellies--a string band that seamlessly blends Americana, bluegrass, new grass, jazz and rock to create a performance suitable for any audience. Additionally, he is known for his collaborations with other groups such as Brightbird, Ethan Stokes Tischler, and others. Greg is also a mandolin luthier and builds his own mandolins under the name Pauza String Instruments.

Here's a word from Greg about the instrument played here, "The electric mandolin in the video is a mando of my own design and construction, more of a prototype than anything, but a pretty fun instrument nevertheless...since building it I've been bitten pretty bad by the amp/pedal bug Gotta love overdrive lol."

David
