Returning to Mandolin Mondays this week we have renowned classical mandolinist Caterina Lichtenberg playing an incredible interpretation of the "Passacaglia for Solo Violin" from the Rosenkranz Sonatas (1676) by composer Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber.



One of the premier classical mandolinists in the world today, Caterina holds the only position in the world for Classical Mandolin at the Music Conservatory in Cologne, Germany. She also teaches personalized video exchange lessons through the ArtistWorks company She has released 10 CDs of duo and chamber music and has toured the world as a soloist with symphonies and with her partner Mike Marshall.
