Mandolin Mondays #365 w/ Special Guest Enda Scahill

Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
Turns out that We Banjo 3 tenor banjo virtuoso Enda Scahill also slays on the mandolin! So happy to have Enda with us this week on Mandolin Mondays for an incredible performance of the trad tune "Banish Misfortune" played on his Dave Shapiro mandolin.

In addition to his expansive work with We Banjo 3, Enda has made a name for himself as one of the most innovative and accomplished tenor banjo players on the scene today. He is a multiple time national champion on tenor banjo, and he just won the 2022 Steve Martin Banjo Award.

He's also a prolific online teacher, and has a wealth of learning resources available on his Patreon page here:

Be sure to connect with Enda at the following links below for more information about his music:

And as always, tune in next week for more Mandolin Mondays! Until then...

Happy Picking!

I came to the forum this morning mainly to look at what people had to say about mandolin gig bags when I saw the link to Enda's video. He recently offered an equally excellent banjo version of Banish Misfortune over at the Facebook Banjoheads page.
Thanks, Enda, for giving so much to enthusiasts of our favorite instruments, and to the appreciation of trad music in general.
