Mandolin Mondays #366 w/ Special Guest Joe K. Walsh

Rate this Entry
The great Joe K. Walsh was our very first special guest on this Mandolin Mondays series over 5 years ago, and it's so great to have him back on this week to play a tune from his brand new album If Not Now, Who?. The composition is called "Madison," a cowrite between Joe and John Mailander, and it's played here on Joe's 2000 Gilchrist F5.

Joe continues to make the mandolin world a better place. Whether it be through his teaching at the Berklee College of Music and Peghead Nation, or his many recordings and performances with bands like Joy Kills Sorrow, The Gibson Bros., or Mr. Sun, Joe's authentic voice always shines through. This recent album If Not Now, Who? Joe embraces beautiful space and textures one rarely has the pleasure of hearing on a mandolin album.
