Not to many recent posts here, you guys still in here? I am from Massapequa and host an acoustic open mic every Thursday In Massapequa. Would love to have mandolin players stop by. I am just teaching myself mandolin, life long guitar player. I do the open mic with a female singer. We have PA, mics, chords etc.. What do you play? I played guitar for years myself, but was bitten by the mandolin bug about four years ago and it has truly been an obsession since then. Much more so than I ever imagined, but I'm loving every minute of it.
