rf37, Yeah, biking and mandos seem to go together. Nice to see other bike nuts. I grew up working at a bike shop in the 1970s, and hung out with a lot of road racers back then. One guy played banjo, and I played guitar. We often had folk and bluegrass music on in the shop and would bring out bikes and instruments to company picnics. I lived in Crested Butte Colorado in the 1980s shortly after the birth and rise of mountain biking. At first, I turned my nose up at the sport, being a roadie. Then I tried mountain biking and was hooked. Bought a couple of early 1980 vintage Treks. Now in my 50s, I still ride both road and mt bikes. Love the exercise and lifestyle. I ride a Trek 4300 that I have continually upgraded since 07. Lighter rims, disc brakes long travel fork. Still love the frame
