I wanted to find a gig bag to carry my RM1 in and most seemed to be too small, given the RM1 being pretty wide. I found that the Superior Trailpack gig bags, made or at least sold by Saga for around $25 fit the RM1 very well, quite snugly as a matter of fact. They are NOT the high quality of a custom $200 case, but then they are not $200 either. Anyway, for casual traveling around, it is plenty protective for me, has a decent shoulder strap and works fine. My only gripe is that the accessory pockets, while plentiful, have no place that is big enough for a set of strings! Some of the ads online (for the II model) mention a backmounted music pocket which mine does not have, and that might suit for strings. As it is, I just put the strings inside the case which is not too bad a solution. Anyway, for the price, you cannot do better!
