Martin Barre probably wouldn't play this on a bouzouki, but Ian Anderson might... I've tabbed out the solo for a mandolin - I just have to learn to play it...
Way to play Eddie! Good looking shamrocks.
Eddie, please post your tab!
Eddie, nice playing! And who else would do a Tull song on a Greek bouzouki with shamrocks on it?? I'll second the tab request.
Eddie; that is flat out killer! I'd love to see that tab also. Oh, and this would sound fantastic on a solid-bodied e-mando played through a phase pedal set to a slow sweep, and into an amp with some reverb...Classic stuff. Well done.
Congrats, very nice, I can hear Ian sitting & singing next to you.
Thanks for the kind comments. I have a tab scribbled on the back of an electricy bill - I'll formalize it a bit - I'll also include the solo... that I haven't done yet...
Let's see how this formats: b=Bend (Good luck with that on a mando - sometimes easier to slide up a fret or two) p=Pull off H=Hammer On \=Slide Down /=Slide Up hpfm=Hammer and Pull off really fast and many times. Listen to the Song to figure out how fast and how many times to do that. For a mando tuning (GDAE) subtract two frets to the top string... Now I have a hankering to try Aqualung - though it's more rock than blues...
Eddie, again, fantastic stuff! Thanks for the great Tull tabs. Much appreciated.
