Such fun learning a song by Johnny Clegg "The Crossing" Beautiful song. Have worked out my chords and improvisation. Going to jam along now! What a wonderful thing to play the mandolin! Furtherto played the crossing. Double stops need work, but chords coming nicely. Gonna practice. Absolutely love the song Happy playing all!
Well not replying to my own message for funbut just to add that The middle part of the song needs some polishing. So do the double stops and my opening lick. I also did research. Jonny Clegg's friend in the band played an African made guitar made with three strings. Things with strings so interesting! Going to work on a Johnny Clegg song, "Great Heart" then "Bye Bye December African Rain" Happy playing all!
