Dear Diary readers How time flies. It seems like 15 December was just the other day. That was the day I held my first mandolin, my e70 crafter in my hand. Yesterday it was an early Christmas as I held my a5 Jbovier 2013 in my hand. A beautiful instrument and a velvetine sound! I have today practiced music by Johnny Clegg, Christmas music and some softer romantic numbers. My husband contemplates picking up the mandolin What a healing instrument and what a journey of nine months it has been. A journey where I embarked on the g major joy of sound. The D minor lavender of many shades of musical awareness. Experienced also the healing of music. So I shall play a tremolo or two another note or two or three, raise a glass to nine months and a second mandolin. Happy playing and let the music heal you and take you!
