"Happy Feet" was a song from the 1930 movie "King of Jazz", was sung by the Rhythm Boys (Harry Barris, Al Rinker and Bing Crosby) with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra and composed by Milton Ager, Jack Yellen and, Jack Selig. I played tenor banjo on it many years ago in a mainstream jazz band. This arrangement - in Em/G - is for vocal, guitar, mandolin and tenor guitar. I'm fond of string bands so did my own string band thing here!
hey, Will. Great fun!! You got happy feet and happy fingers!!
Superb, Will. But where are the dancing penguins?
LOL! - In my head mainly...
Nice work! As soon as I saw this one I thought of a local band here that plays this song Gypsy swing style. The pub they play at weekly also frequently has swing dancers who show up and dance to the music, it's a good time!
