A nice solo mandolin arrangent, Maudlin. Almost exactly ten years later, I tried this tune in an arrangement for two mandolins and guitar:
I was surprised there was only one recording of this before your addition, Christian, and that it has taken 10 years for the second recording to come along. Lovely measured tremolo, as usual, and balanced guitar accompaniment.

I am greatly impressed by this multilingual exchange of compliments. Also, as always, by your playing, Christian, and the skill of the three instrument arrangement. In truth, I don't care for this song very much, but in your hands it escapes its schmaltzy backstory and becomes something far more serious and listenable.
