I really feel that way! I attribute it to 2 things. 1- I'm not having to "fight" the instrument for tone. It's just there, and I can put my concentration to what I'm playing, instead of trying to make the sound right. 2- It's just such a pleasure, that I find myself practicing more. As i get more and more comfortable with it, learning it's sweet spots, I feel like I'm getting more fluid in my playing. I felt like I had reached a plateau with my previous mandolin. Looks like this was just the jump-start I needed to get me pushing on!
Mike, I know what you mean! My F5 Studio is so easy to play, and the tone is already there as you say. When I first got it, it just lended itself to me playing it over and over. Keep enjoyin Bro!
