I am starting my first mando build and my emotions are highly mixed. I'm stoked but also apprehensive. Is this normal!?! I am building a F4 simply because I have always wanted one & due to the fact I have plenty of 5's! I will be constructing under the watchful eye of my current mandolins builder, Otis Singleton. I will be his Padawan learner! Using a Red Spruce top with the remainder being Red/ Big Leaf Maple. I have a name and my peghead design on the books. Templates are complete. Starting my body mold today and will be gluing my backs & tops over the weekend. Wish me luck!
