Just when you thought it was safe to come back to the SAW group, another O'Carolan tune! Isabella Burke although pitched in F and most versions I found were in Dm, I found the chords in Gm more interesting.
What can I say? A beautiful tune, beautifully played! The only negative thing I can mention is that your music makes me want to sit and listen rather than sit and practise! :D
That's another one you've made me have to learn. It's fantastic.
David. I was going to post yesterday , but was short on time. I am now listening to it for the third [oops 4th now] time. Got swept away by the music and forgot to type. Just beautiful. Gary
Marcy, I had the same problem, as soon as I heard it I knew I had to learn it. Gary, thanks for the words of encouragement, it is indeed a beautiful tune. Here's the abc's for my arrangement, this is the 1st time I've added chords to abc notation. I just had to learn this one! Apologies for the poor sound quality. I'll look into a better microphone when I can afford it.
Nicely done. It is quite the infectious tune isn't it?
