I'm a beginner and had been playing a Glenn Burton mandolin. It was a cheap model but made me appreciate the instrument. After a painstaking search, I found my next stepping stone... The Loar LM 600 VS. After test driving a Gibson (out of my price range at the moment), this Loar surprised me! It has a very Rich sound and I could not be more satisfied. Looking forward to my bonding time with my new Mando!
Hello Picking Gal! I am excited to have just bought an LM 600. It has not yet arrived, but I am eager with anticipation. It will join my Morris A Oval and my J Bovier A5 Special. I think that will be enough variety for me.
Welcome to the group to you both. And welcome to the Loar family. I've been gone from this site for quite a while, but I'm starting to come back to it. I'm sure you'll both be happy with your instruments.
