Some time ago I wrote an exercise in Bb, promptly forgot about it. Recently, I came across it and have just started working on it. I like it because it has a pretty sound, and though I think it's a great exercise for practicing technique, it is a pretty musical exercise. The aim is the following: 1. Clean noting and finger placement for stretches 2. Playing the notes of the Bb scale in two octaves, first position 3. Using double-stops 4. Using slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs 5. Working the pinkie For me, the exercise requires concentration on finger placement and clean noting. TEF file download PDF standard notation only PDF TAB + standard notation
