Oh man oh man. I used to get so mad at the girl in our school symphonic band who could play every scale up and down with the tonic and dominant arpeggios in three octaves. She needed to get a life, that's for sure. I had a rule. My max was two flats or sharps. Any more than that, give me a minute and a couple do-overs and I'll figure it out.
