Hello Fellow Oklahoman's I just picked up a Kentucky mandolin, and am a beginner. I am a musician since the 70's but just recently got the bug for the mandolin. Any tips for what to work on first? Thanks, Nathan
Bluegrass, Celtic, Italian folk. Listen to Chris Thile and Carlo Aonzo. They are amazing. Go check out Oklahoma City Traditional Music Association (facebook). They meet once a month.
