Here is a contra dance tune written by Jean-Paul Loyer.

    Collings MTO mandolin

Bodhran track downloaded from YouTube here:

    Very fun to play with!

The mandolin sounds fine, but are you sure it's a Collings and not your Weber 2-Point?
Anyway, very accurate playing and the downloaded bodhran also fits in well.

Nice well done! It’s sounds good with a bodhran.
I use a metronome but it’s because I still need to work on my triplets.
I sometimes use Tunebook SD app too but I find the jig timing for that is a bit too waltz-like, not sort of extended enough.

The link seems broken, is this the backing track here?

I like that song Robert - good rhythm and love the drum.

    Thanks Ginny.
atsunrise - That is the right link. I'll check on the link in my post. I am afraid I am not real tech savy.
crisscross - It is my Collings playing but I found I only had pictures of a Weber Bighorn.....oh well.

Fine jig picking, Simon, reminds me, I should practice the D-U-D-D-U-D movement again.

Thanks CC, though I used the internal microphone of the camera hence the background noise.

I also used this metronome setting to give it a slight loping feel. (7:4 rather than the standard 2:1 for a jig)
