    Thanks Frithjof and John, yes I heard this quite a while ago now played by a guy on the accordion, I think it was filmed in Malawi or something, anyway later the vid was taken down which is a shame. It was so well played.

    Nice and fluent as usual, Simon. It surprised me to hear this one again. Your version sounds quite different from the only other one I know, although it's clearly the same tune:



    Marla Fibish is one of my favourite players. I like her style so much that I've been considering her online course at Peghead Nation as the still-to-be realised treat for my 10-year mandolin anniversary, which happened last November. But when Marla's name was mentioned in a list published by Mandolin Cafe of professional mandolinists offering online lessons during the Corona crisis, I got in touch with her. We've had a couple of Skype lessons so far, and I'm working on my technique.
