I wanted to come up with a new recording today, but the heat got the better of me, so I looked through my archives and found Moscow Nightsby Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi. In the early 60ies, it was played as a swing piece by Kenny Ball and called Midnight in Moscow.
Very nice sound, Christian, and played very well! "Moscow Nights" was our offical tune in Week #321 (as "Midnight in Moscow") -- I think there is an earlier recording from you on domra in that thread, too... Link Martin
Nevertheless a beautiful sounding recording.
Very nice sound CC. I like the melody too, very appealing.
very nice all around; the playing, the tremolo, the arrangement and the recording
Thanks folks! I had completely forgotten, that I already had posted a version of that song...
