Harbor Lights (Hugh Williams & Jimmy Kennedy, 1937) This is a pop standard, and a big hit for Sammy Kaye and for The Platters. Elvis also recorded it at his first Sun session on July 5, 1954 - just after "That's Alright (Mama)" and just before "Blue Moon Of Kentucky". One of my long-time favourites, Martin. Such an evocative tune and takes me away back to other times. The tenor guitar is ideal for the accompaniment on this recording. Lovely job.
