After days of unsuccessful searching, I finally give up.
There must be a thread for this welsh tune, but I couldn't find it.
Martin posted it in February 2020

Simon folllowed suit in April 2020

I recorded it some days ago, but didn't find a place to publish it.
Maybe I should get a set of stronger prescription glasses.

Very nice, Christian! Your guitar style gives a different mood to the tune.

If it's any consolation, I couldn't find my old thread either when searching in the usual way -- it's not in Barb's index and doesn't show up on either a Cafe or Google search. As I posted it in February 2020 just before the world went mad, it's not that surprising that it slipped through the manual index update. i found it browsing back through the 2020 SAW threads:

    Very Sweet Christian!
Don’t beat yourself up over the search issues though, what can we do?

Well played, Christian, and fine earlier versions from Martin and Simon. Three interestingly individual treatments of the tune.

Fine playing, Christian. Nice to (re-)listen to all three versions.

Sorry, every attempt to insert the video went wrong. Maybe I missed a change in the procedure.

    Very lovely versions all!

Martin, thanks for the notation. I'm using it here as a guide for my latest practice run with the phone backing app, where I'm trying out some chord variations (work in progress). My theme is the happy-ending version of the Sweet Jenny Jones "love lost and found again" story, where the homesick sailor returns home after 20 years at sea. Although here it seems to be in a cartoon sailing ship that floats above the water like a hydrofoil. Anyway, it's a fun tune to play!

Thanks for your version, Jess. It’s so much happier than mine.

Two great new versions of this tune!
I have no problems seeing your video, Frithjof, only my own, I can't watch here.
