It's still really LOUD!

Played in a jam today with 3 banjos, 2 guitars, 1 fiddle and me. At one point, had one of the banjo players look at me and ask if I could play a little softer, I was drowning out some of the singers.

WooHoo! Me and my JamMaster were holding our own against 3 banjos.

I am still amazed at the amount and quality of sound the thing puts out. And I still cause much mandolin envy when I pull it out.

I did take it by Mass Street Music in Lawrence Kansas and have Matt Harmon give it a thorough once over. He lowered the action ever so slightly on my A and E strings, filing the nut down a touch. Made a huge difference. Much easier to play in general, and easier to play faster.

Yea, they are great. Mine has not failed me once, no problem for anyone to hear it. Other than the volume growing, the tone gets richer all the time also.
