Hi -- I put up a discussion thread in the Song-A-Week social group about a project I'm doing and was just wondering if anyone here might be interested. I'm an MFA student at Goddard College and am writing folk tunes which, so far, have been played by S-A-W social group folks on banjo, octave mando, and mando. Wanted to put it out here as well. I'm in the Charlotte area and wanted just see if maybe I can get some local folks involved as well! Check out the thread on S-A-W which will give you an idea of what's going on with the project - -I would love to have as many different individuals, instruments, interpretations of the tunes as possible. And as I mentioned on that thread, I love to write -- and I'm discovering I'm equally as passionate about hearing people play the things I write!
