This year sees a changed format for Return to Camden Town Festival, with music and song events more concentrated over one long weekend and dance events on a separate weekend. There will be more daytime as well as evening performances at the London Irish Centre on the music weekend as well as sessions and workshops – all corners of the venue will be a hive of activity from morning ‘til night. The Festival will continue to host some events in other offsite venues in Camden, enabling us to take the Festival into the early hours. So if you’re a concert going dancer, this year you don’t have to be torn between events – the Festival will host a separate weekend of dancing with the usual highest standard quality music and teaching. If you’re just mad for the music, block out Thursday 21st – Sunday 24th October 2010 in your diary, it’s going to be a mighty weekend in London!

Artists confirmed so far include: Matt Molloy, John Carty and Arty McGlynn/ The Old De Danann (Alec Finn, Johnny McDonagh, Eleanor Shanley, Mick Conneely, Derek Hickey, Brian McGrath)/The London Lasses and Pete Quinn/ Tony DeMarco/ Peter McAlinden (album launch) and many more tbc.
