When to go on from exercise #1

Hi all, I am a relative newbie. (Started learning mando too impatiently and too quick in 2004, gave it up, am now trying to relearn the RIGHT way.) I downloaded the FFcP exercises and have been working on the 3rd finger C-C#-G-G# one for about a month. Am seeing tremendous improvement in pinky strenght and flexibility! But am still getting a little "buzz" occasionally on pinky notes and am playing quite slowly. Is it time to move on to the exercises starting on the 2nd finger, figuring that all four work together as a unit, or should I keep with this one for a while longer?

Ted, thanks so much for these exercises!

    Sara,
If you're able to move through the exercise pretty quick (the buzzing pinky notes notwithstanding), then add another exercise to your repertoire. This is especially a good idea if you're getting bored with the original exercise.

But come back to 3rd finger at least once a session and really pay attention to the pinky.
