I like playing "Sally in the Garden." Here I'm playing my new Cohen. f-d
That mandolin has great tone! I know that tune too.
WW, thanks for the kind words. Tonight was my first outing with my new mandolin - over to the local old-time jam. There was about 15 folks in the circle and I could hear myself, so that's an acid test for sure! It's always great to try a new instrument in different settings and for it to perform. So, I'm enjoying my new mandolin. I love playing Sally in the Garden, but my jam mates don't know it, sigh. . . f-d
Here's one we played at my 60th b'day party this past weeknd. "Hangman's Reel" Actually my wife videoed 3 tunes. I'll try to post them later. I think the other (2) are Little Billy Wison and Jeff Sturgeon... Great! OT tunes
nice group! Great tune! And, I could hear the mandolin - great job! I love to play this tune too! f-d
