What I use.

I am learning to play from several sources. The Mandolin Cafe has years worth of material on their site. I am also using a DVD called Ultimate Beginner Series Bluegrass Mandolin Basics and Beyond by Dennis Caplinger.

One of my favorite learning tools is TablEdit it lets you slow the songs down to a more comfortable speed to learn and displays the songs in TAB. There are tons of songs here http://www.mandozine.com/music/index.php.
