Did it morph into another A style model?
Hi Terry, I hate to see you sitting there waiting for an answer. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer you seek. I did know at one time because I was looking at one (I liked it a lot) and called the good folks at Weber and they told me what became of the Absaroka. I just don't remember. Nice instrument though! Why don't you phone Weber and ask them? They love to talk mandolins and are really nice people. That's the quickest way to get an accurate answer to your question. Best wishes, Bob
Was the Absaroka bound on both front & back?
My 1999 is bound on the top and the back.
