Anyone know of a luthier who might do set-up work on an Eastman? Thanks in advance!

Pete Langdell in Caimbridge, or Joe cleary in Burlington are the 1st 2 I'd try...

Tucker Barrett in Brattleboro is a great guy and does very good work. He did a troublesome neck reset for me recently and it came out great. He is in Brattleboro. Call him - he isn't an e mail guy.

I've seen Pete Langdell do some really nice work, but I haven't used him myself. Some folks I have played with are real pleased with his work. Plus, he's a nice guy and plays in a good band.

No, Cambridge is north. Just north of Jericho/Underhill and Mt Mansfield, west of Smuggs. Near Jeffersonville.

I've gone blank on Mr. Langdell's band - I think it's Big Spike Bluegrass.

scusi ... i'm a resident of vermont only in the way that a conn./ny yankee living in italy can be - my sense of geography has obviously gone walk about. from a vermont/new hampshire perspective, i've always thought of boston and its environs as being "down there" somewhere ...

    ciao, you'awl - bill

Oh, I gotcha, Bill. Cambridge, VT vs Cambridge, MA.

As if that weren't confusing enough, there's a Cambridge NY about 20 miles from me.

Bill, I wish I'd heard about Wildwood Flower Country Store earlier. My partner and I drove past it on our way to Randolph last week, and I recall wondering what it was. I love finding musical instruments in little country stores around here! There's a terrific Martin dealership run out of the back room of the Danby Four Corners Country Store.

I've been working at Randolin Music in Burlington since the summer, and Nowa (the shop owner) has always been great to my Eastman. Some cool vintage stuff comes in and out of the shop regularly. We just got a 1926 Martin OO-17 that sounds excellent. He's also authorized to work on behalf of Martin, Taylor, and plenty more!
