Slightly surprisingly, we don't already have this tune either as an SAW or as an "Other" tune. I've recorded this by request from one of my Youtube subscribers (to mark US National Train Day on 10 May), but I thought it would fit the group here as well. Based on the melody and chords (but not the bluegrass variation) from the TablEdit version at Mandozine.

A popular American train song, first published in 1882 as a variation on "Rock Island Line", and later recorded by the Carter Family in 1929 and Roy Acuff in 1936.

Played as a trio, with mandolin and tenor guitar trading lead and rhythm, over a mandocello bass line.

    Ozark tenor guitar
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello

I've always thought this was a fun song, Martin. You do a good job with it.
