At 62, I finally have two mandolins at the same time. I've had my Eastman md615 for maybe 10 years and is a really good bluegrasser. And I got an md 504 about 10 days ago, new from the mandolin store. Mang, that's a good little box, stays in tune, and rings like a bell. And of course the Mandolin Store is a joy to deal with. Dan
Hi Dan Pleased to hear of your second mandolin. I have in the meantime lent my mandolin to a young friend with Fibro maelgia. She is loving it, she is learning two finger chords and some easy melody. I am so pleased. I am in the meantime preparing for three mini-concerts, street concerts during the national arts festival in July. I shall be playing with a blind friend. Also exhibiting some photos and saving for my mandola! Back to your mandolin: good on you and enjoy!
