Did you just receive #27 new, or did you buy it used or from a store?
Sorry for the delay, Teak. Jim Baggett at Mass Street Music in Lawrence had #27 built for a personal mandolin. I drove up to look over an F4 and a Mike Black that had been sold, unknown to me. Jim brought out #27 and mentioned that he was considering selling. I was back two weeks later and it was mine. I'd have saved money buying from Mike or off the cafe classifieds, but when you find what you want, buy it or it will be gone. Very happy. Mike is available as a day trip for me when I need maintenance, and Lawrence is a great shopping/dining town.
