Well as much as I love owning at my 1925 Vega mandolin banjo it is really too loud for my living room. And that's where I play. So I have decided to sell it. It is great for any mandolinist who wants to be heard over other instruments without the benefit of an amplifier. Would be great for a street musician, too - a melody-instrument, unusual to the passersby, and which can be heard over traffic. See my ad in the Classifieds.

It has been sold to a woman in La Grande, Oregon who will play it in a real band. I am very happy about this. This banjo has paid its way for most of its 90 years and I hope she continues to its 100th birthday and beyond.
