These are two tunes I recorded for the song-a-week group today. The mandolin is my new Touchstone Walnut, the strings are new John Pearse 11s, and the picks are a Gravity Gold Series Razer 1mm and a Blue Chip Jazz (personally, I can't hear much difference). The A and E strings have a bit too much metallic ring for my taste - do you think it's the new strings?
