Greetings to all. I am a newb to the mandolin and play an older Ibanez purchased last year from Elderly. It is an "A" style and seems to be a bit nicer than what they currently offer. No tag or serial #, the top is solid and the back and sides may be but maybe not. They show a moderate tiger flame and the fingerboard is inlaid with rectangles with slightly rounded corners. The instrument has a wide dynamic range , easily hanging out with banjo but lacks the sublety needed for softer playing. I have had no luck trying to id the thing so if anyone has any advice I'll be around. I will try to post some pix. Fight organized crime Vote 'em ALL out of office. chazba
