Yeah, so here's a question: Know of anyone locally who does case repairs? My '23 Gibson case is in good shape except for the handle, which is worn down to the cardboard. Gail Hester gave me a good piece of leather to make a cover for it, but I must admit I'm clueless about sewing it on there. Any ideas about where I could take it?
You might give Dusty Strings a call.

Hm. Thanks! Actually, since it involves stitching leather, I'm going with a local tack-and-saddle guy. Don't need to replace the handle, just put some new leather on it.
Then later you can..."ride it like a mule!" (sorry, someone had to say it)
Well, my man Chuck did a nice job with my handle. Good as new. Kind of on the pricey side but worth it. Any of y'all need some leather work done on your case, let me know and I'll put you in touch with Chuck.
