This is an Irish slow air by Turlough O'Carolan (also known as "Morgan Megan"). My arrangement is based on the recording by Dave Swarbrick on his 1977 album "Swarbrick 2", as transcribed by Maartin Allcock for his book "Dave Swarbrick Fiddle Tunes".

Thanks, Christian. I like it as well -- the tone goes well with this type of tunes in the gray area between Celtic, folk and early music such as Carolan or Playford. Swarbrick is a great source of material as he had an eye for a good tune and how to adapt it to make it catchy.

This is really nice, Martin, and I agree with the all the comments. It's absolutely the right choice of instruments and, as Robert says, O'Carolan is always welcome.
